The bongo bell (campāna) is often played when you need to drive a chorus section. There are two different sounds used when playing the bongo bell. They are created by playing the cowbell with the butt end of the drumstick. A lower pitch is created by playing near the bell opening and the other higher pitch is created by striking the bell near the narrower end.
